Saturday

Collected 4 lbs broad beans & dug up 15 lbs potatoes (4 lbs to Anne) & one bundle spinach. Large bunch radish. One lettuce & gave one to Mr Freeman. Last of early potatoes. Nice day but windy & dry.

Friday

Showery in morning – Mrs Morgan caught bus to Caernarvon. Fairly nice day after although dull.

Thursday

Collected 2 lbs beans and 11/2 lbs peas. Showery until lunch time then nice.

Wednesday

Collected 4 lbs broad beans. Took 2 lbs to Anne, also 2 lbs potatoes. Showery at first but nice after although with very strong wind.

Tuesday

Shower in morning nice for rest of day. Mrs Morgan came.

Monday

Nice weather but strong wind which dried washing quickly.

Sunday

Terrific wind until late in afternoon.  Blew one of my tomato cloches down & had broken about 6 inches off a squash.

Thursday

Rain during night & this morning.  Sprayed potatoes with Mr Colley’s spray. Late ones seem to be developing something wrong on their leaves. Some peas up.
